I was curious if Novell 3.12 in a new Athlon XP system will work? If so, is there something special you have to do to make it install properly? I've tried it and I keep getting errors about settings being locked or some thing like that (its been about 2 weeks since I've messed with it). At any rate I put in an older intel chip and it worked instantly so wasnt really sure if it was my board or my Athlon XP or something special I had to do to make it function properly. Thanx much for any help =)

Have a Nice Day!!!

Yup, got her up and running finally. The only thing is now, when I connect to it and go to Win Explorer, it shows it as 2 1.99GB drives. F: and Z: and they both have the same stuff in it. The actual hardrive is a 18GB so I'm gonna have to look into this. =)

Thats, normal. Are you using client32 to access the server, or are you just using the MS client? You are hitting a 2 gig limit and I can't remember exactly what the limitation was caused by. Load the latest Client32 though I have a feeling that will fix it. Otherwise, it's just a visual flaw. You are seeing more than that, but the machine is unable to display more than 2gig.

As for that drive mapping thing. You are getting the default login script where f: will map to public and so will z I believe.
