Hi guys,

does anyone know what adding the source number "TAPI_SPECIAL_LLC" to NoUser does?
It's necessary for the integration of CIE (Customer Interaction Express, the "big brother" of IPOCC only sold in Germany) and now I'm wondering what exactly its use is.

Thanks in advance for any hints or tips :)

It does something with tapi i guess.
IPOCC does not use the tapi anymore as far as i know.
It used too but they changed something in 9.0.3

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Yep you're right, the TAPI interface is no longer used in the latest builds.

My guess is that this code enables CIE (or IPOCC respectively) to get all extensions information across an SCN although the application (in this case CIE) is only connected to one system (e.g. server edition where all users are configured in their respective local IPOs).

The problem I'm having is that we sell another product (XPhone, no idea if you guys ever heared of it^^ xD) which provides CTI, Fax to Email functionality and some other stuff. For the CTI part 3rd Party TAPI is used but you can only connect XPhone to one system in an SCN.
As all users are configured in their separate IPOs XPhone currently is not able to get the states of all extensions across the SCN.

As CIE/IPOCC supports SCN (and used the TAPI interface for that up to a few versions ago) I now ask myself: Can I use the "TAPI_SPECIAL_LLC" to solve my problem with XPhone? Because I can't find any documentation on this code anywhere and don't know what exactly it does...
