hello

URGENT

wchkdb failed cause my LV was full

i've got a problem with my notice.dbd file it becomes more than 400 MB and now i cannot make a backup, there must be a problem with the logging into this file.

has anyone an idea how to fix this prob, it seems i may not delete the file and touch a new file, cause there are some header info in the file.

i found a command to mark unread messages as read, but it do not delete them from the file, so the file do not gets smaller, is there a command to decrease this file and its entrys

hope to get answer soon
thanks joe

Hi joe,

Go to
Here you wil find a script calles fix_notification_system.sh. This will clean out your notice database, but it will restore subscriptions.

Since your notice database has grown so big I would suggest to check what actions in your TMR are generating notices that are not very much of interest.

Good luck,

Koos
