Nothing happens when executing application

I've had problems with Metaframe XP (French Version), and just uninstalled it, then reinstalled it, as well as service pack, and a utility to refresh the local host cache. However, this has changed nothing to my problem : when I double click on a published application, nothing happens, not even an error message on the screen or on the W2K error log.

Anybody has a clue ?

I am currently facing a similar problem. The application executes a crystal report and this is when the screen flashes for a moment and goes off.

"Physical database not found" error was written out to the error log.

At the very end of the Thread (Thread48_34251) there is some reference on how to handle this. Hope this helps.

Are you guys using a Oracle or SQL DS for the Metaframe Farm?

Thanks a lot.

I finally fixed the problem uninstalling Metaframe, and deleting the database directory (IMA) and re-installing it. It now works properly !

We are using the standard Access database delivered with Metaframe, but it seems that problems started when I installed another ODBC driver on the server, so I also uninstalled it. I haven't re-installed this ODBC driver, but soon will, so I will know if it the source of the problem...
