Hello,
I hope this is the correct place to post this.
I have setup numerous odbc dsn connections, this morning, when helping out a colleague, using Windows 10
opened the ODBC admin window, clicked on add, select the ODBC Driver 32bit for iSeries, click on Finish and nothing happens, I usually get the window where I type in the name of the ODBC and libraries desired.but in this case don't get that, I have tried it with both ODBCAD32 and the 64 Bit version.
I have also tried System DSN and user DSN with both 32bit and 64bit
I am a bit stumped on this one.

Any help is much appreciated

Hi,

You posted this in IBM: BD2. But iSeries???

Check out:

I notice that there is no reference to the Windows 10 ODBC Data Source Administrator 32-bit.

Rather it specifically states, "Start the ODBC Administration program from the System i Access for Windows[tt][/tt] program group."

Don't know if that's significant or not. Doesn't seem like it might be the ODBC Data Source Administrator 32-bit that perhaps you and I have been accustomed to. ???

...OR, once added, do you need to CONFIGURE your driver?

Skip,

Got the user working.
When the user was given his laptop the wrong drivers were installed for IBM iSeries Client Access. Installed new drivers and fixed the issue.
