I would suggest refreshing the design of your mailbox.
If you have not removed the template name from your mail db properties, you should be able to use File/Database/Refresh design to get back your Inbox.
If Refresh does not work, you can try the other option : Replace. None of your folders will disappear, so you can do this without fear.
Of course, in both cases any modifications you may have made to your mail box will probably be erased.
