Can someone recommend a good class for a Tier 3 Support person, I need to be able to do PDT, patches, remote INI, high level support etc. on the CS1000 - M1 systems

I also need to take a CCM 6.0 High level class.

Thanks and Happy Holidays

What Nortel Certifications, and what telecom experience do you currently have?

I don't have any Certifications but I have taken several courses, the ones that are one or two weeks long.

M1 installation and Maintenance, Admin, DTI PRI, etc..

I have been working on M1 systems for 14 years with end users not vendors, and I also worked as a sales Engineer for 2 years with Nortel.

The Engineering level classes require previous Certifications, unless your local vendor will vouch for your experience. Most of the classes are no longer provided by Nortel.

If all you need is "PDT, patches, remote INI" then we can help on parts of those:

PDT: - Do you know how to get to PDT? If so, type "help".

Patches: Lots of posts here address that

Remote INI: Get into PDT, then type "trp".

Newer releases (Rls 5 and up) have a Remote INI command right in the books.

I'd just call the training center and tell them what you want. Done that yet?
