not working Accessing To Voicemail from a cellphone??

Hi,

i have a BCM 450 R1 we setup the voicemails
also setup an auto attendet but when i try to listen to voicemail
from a cell phone the call get disconnected

here is what i do

calling the number with the auto attendet
press **

and right away the call get disconected


any ideas??

Does it work off of a land line?

When you press the * key does the cell phone give out a tone or it might be a function of that phone. I know some phones you have to press # * *.

i tried from a landline and a cellphone still dosent let me access the vociemail

it goes silence for a few sec and then drop the call

What happens when you press any other digits, call in and start at 1 then repeat to 9, #? Do you get the can voice.

the whole prompt is dead i think i dont have the UI because even from the system when i log to a voicemail there is no prompt

and on the log history of the call pilot i can see that it sais

Shell 1: play voice failed rc=4099(0x1003)

so i wonder how to fix it

450r1.0 was a bit flaky.
Are you current on patches?

You may need to do a reinstall on the VM.
