We are not receiving "Undeliverable" message notification from outgoing mail. The only way to know that the message did not go out is by the "frowny face" on the given message in Sent Items. We are running GW6 SP1, 1 MTA & POA, GWIA is 6.0.2 Beta.

How do I set it up so that the admin and/or user gets notified of undeliverable messages?

Thanks,
Anthony

Yes, I've noticed this too, but only on "internal" messages where a group such as "All Users" is used in the "To" field. We haven't figured this out either!

We do get mail returned if it goes outside the GroupWise system. BTW, we run GW 6.0 SP2 and we noticed this same occurrence on GW 5.5 EP.

Wish I had an answer too!!

I snooped around ConsoleOne, and I found a setting that I changed that seems to work during my limited testing.

1. Go to the properties of the GWIA object
2. Go to the "Groupwise" tab-->Optional Gateway Settings
3. Change "outbound status level" to "Undelivered"
(the default being "none")

I am still waiting to see if it works for any of our users as well.

I am still open to other ideas in case this does not work.
