Just got a V2 and it appears to have a little mod that I haven't seen before, a little plastic tab to stop the cards coming out :)

yeah saw that on a new ipo we installed recently.

Funny thing is they will ignore most requests to change some programming (i.e remove the auto "" for vm collect which never works), which is not that hard to do, but they will do this and I see no need for it :)

This mod can be done by anyone.
The programming can't and they are vert. Busy at the moment.

The "" thing has been cr4p since they introduced it years ago, and if I made that mod it would be held on with sticky tape and probably snapped in half :)

Anybody notice they moved the Lan port side by side with the Wan port as well?
 
that was new with V2 of the IP500 :) the V1 has them over top of each other the V2 has them side by side because they have an SD card rather then a CF which needs more room.

It was also very annoying to plug in a cable on the back of the ipo when there was not much room to do this.

I also notice the SD cards are amde by Toshiba now not SanDisk :)
