not ready activity codes-Symposium

I can't get the not ready activity codes to work in symposium call center. Can anyone help? I tried to look at the posts, but I'm still not getting it to work. Also, how do I tell that the activity cides are working>?

actually what is the patch number do you know??? I would like to have that before I call Nortel so I may let my management know...[hourglass]
 
it'd be helpful if you explained "how" the activity codes aren't working. what are you doing to set them up, what are you doing to use them, how are you determining that they aren't working.

Hi,

Agree with Les. Try next process:
At first you should program PBX Meridian. Agent phones are associated with an ACD which is defined on key 0 in LD 11. In this ACD data blok you have to modify prompt NRAC=YES ( default value is NO). On the agent phone program ACNT feature on the free key. Now if agent logs in, releases Not Ready and presses Not Ready again can insert
Not Ready Reason Codes using ACNT key ( Led by ACNT key flashes, press key . . . . ).
On Symposium SMI / Switch Administration/Activity codes create requested activity codes
with descriptions. If you run Not Ready Reason Codes By Agents standard report there should appear NRD reasons activities.
If it doesn´t work then is time for patches experiments.

Here is the steps I have done:

1) Ld 23 changed NRAC to yes
2) Ld 20 add ACNT key to agents phone

What Am I missing?

Does the phone display the code, or any indication that the phone is in a not ready code?

Or just the number associated with the reason code like 01, 02, 03, etc?
 
I have also programmed the not ready activity codes into Symposium admin .

 
Login agent phone, perhaps is automatically going to default NRD status. Press NRD key, to be in idle status and then NRD again.
If M1 programming is done correctly then LED associated to ACNT key flashes and on the phone display you can see INSERT ACTIVITY CODE. Insert code (1,2,3,4 . . .) and press ACNT again. Agent is now NRD by reason 1,2,3,4 ...
If it works then you can continue with Symposium to program reasons to codes assignment,
as mentioned above.

Everyone, It was a admin user report issue. The Not Ready Codes were working, but my admin was running the Activity codes by agent report, that I believe is not a standard report, intead of the Not Ready Reason Codes By Agents report listed above by Sasha. Thanks, I am lucky I looked into the report that was running via my admin instead of breaking my head trying to get this to work on the programming side.

My question is now, is there a patch for the Not Ready Activity Codes that I should be aware of?
