I'm having the opposite problem. I can connect to the internet but not my network with my new laptop. I have tried the wireless connection and the physical cat5 connection with no luck. I've tried static ip addy's and dns settings and that didn't work. Please let me know if you need more info.

Thanks for the help.

Andy

Do you have a firewall? DOes it have a log? Can you view it?

In the control panel click on the network connections icon and then right click on the network connection for your network, choose properties and make sure you have client for microsoft networks, and file and print sharing for microsoft networks installed, if not install them.
