not able to find ica connection settings

I have Windows XP Pro machines that users log into generically which brings them to a desktop. When they click on Outlook or other applications, its connects via citrix and they are asked to log into the network at that point. One machine that has been functioning properly for some time is returning an error of not able to find ica connection, the connection cannot be launched. I have checked all of the obvious settings as far as the custom connection IP that it connects too and everything seems to be correct.
 
Open theeir programme Neighbourhood and refreshh their apps.

no good - now it returns a fatal exception error and closes the application. I guess I will have to uninstall everything and redo it.
 
Hmmm, sounds like a plan, try telnet to the ip of the server port 1494 that at least will confirm connectivity.

Similar situation as described by "2evolve" and yes fixing the problem can be accomplished by refreshing the apps in Program Neighborhood, but what would cause this to re-occur constantly?

There is a mix of Wan & Lan - both experiencing the problem. Forgive me as I'm not a Citrix guru - what settings need to be changed?
 
No I was saying they change the settings. Are you changing the applications at all whilst they are running ?
