I don't seem to be able to dial out from any station in the office today. We can receive calls and ring internally but when you try to dial a number, all you get is the dial tone.

Also, we cannot forward the phones to the VMIB, it denies access. However, this was working yesterday and I double checked in the admin programming that all stations have access to the VMIB and they do. Any suggestions?

What type of system? Try to power off/on - afteer having taken a backup from the Admin Program.

I'm not certain which it is and no one seems to know, I thinks it's ipldk 100. I need to set up PC Admin - where do I get the software from and which version do I need?

[Trans/Pgm]+72 says "DX66-C.6Ef SEP/06 KOREA"
This seems different to the other s/w levels I have seen posted on here - which version do I need?

How do I backup the system in order to try powering off/on and which version of PC Admin do I need?

Hi TRW95

1. Have you tried accessing each individual line? If you dont have line presence then access line 1 by dialling 8801. Line 2 is 8802 etc etc. If your recieving calls then it could be your last line is faulty and dialling 9 will always try to pick this line up first.

2. If you've had a power outage then the access deny on the vmib could be that the user messages have been wiped and your trying to forward your phone with no message programmed. Record a new greeting on your extn then try forwarding your phone.

A back-up is just nice to have if the build-in battery (that holds the database) is out of power (dead). You can use any version of ipLDK admin program to make the back-up.
You need a serial cable or LAN cable to connect from yor PC to the ipLDK.
I am not it is an ipLDK-100. It looks more to be a ipLDK-60.
Can you find some identification on the "box".
What country are you in?

I suspect a power cut is the culprit. I still had line presence etc but the circuits in the "box" were behaving strangely and a restart seems to have done the trick. The VMIB still doesn't work but having checked the slot assignment, station access and message selection I had come to the same conclusion as eats4treats suggested and will re-record the user greeting.

Doktor, I think it is a 60 rather than 100 and will try to run a backup next week. I am in the UK (not Korea) but the phone has said Korea on it since a big power cut about a year ago, which reset the phones (inc the language to Korean).

Thanks for your help, I will try to fix the VMIB and run a backup then get back to you.

Yes, I know Korean is the deafult country since Korea is the country of manufation. However ALLWAYS set it to the country you're in (It is done in PGM100) since all local telco settings are included in the country code.
If the system is defaulted (data base default) it will Korean contry code but English text in the displays.
