Hi,

I'm using Meridian Mail (Rls 13.12) 24 ports and 48 hrs capacity connected to our M1 Op 81c system Rls. 25.30.

I'm facing a problem adding new user. After entring all the details(Name/Revert DN etc.), when I try to save the user I get the promt " SYSTEM ERROR OCCURED, USER NOT ADDED. PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER"

When I try to view the SEER error I get SEER1139 with few details.

There are total 2 thru dial definitions created and around 1500 Mail box in the system.

The HDD usage is in limit by defining storage time limit to mailbox users and so.

seems to be HDD capacity problem, so I've checked all the parameters related to HDD, ample of space is available(showing usage 38% only).

Does anyone know why I can not add the user in M-Mail??

Please suggest if any specific parameters need to be changed on M1 side or patch to be loaded which is available in PEP library to fix the problem.

Thanks in advance.

haven't seen that one, have you done a find to see if the number is a member of another mb?.. that is not the right seer for that trouble, but i have never tried to add a mb and had any problem that would stop me, we are running the same rls with almost the same number of users. the number of users is only restricted by hd capacity. did you look at for additional seer codes in the tables?... i would try adding the user to a different volume..

Yes John,

I checked everything, the number is not the member of another mb. Might be I'm facing something like this simple config problem only, which is getting overlooked by me.

The SEER error i'm getting is the same as I stated b4 i.e SEER1139 suggesting Action 33 in mannual.

John, to be precise, the mail users are 1421 now and I believe this could be HDD limit for adding user to particular volume.

John pls let me know is it possible to increase the volume with any config or command, or there is only one way left for me to key in the keycodes and increase the HDD capacity to 96hrs now.

Thanx for the speedy reply, I was expecting that!!

If you are using AMIS, the AMIS location codes cannot be the same as a mailbox DN. This can be the problem.

i have seen all users added to the same vol, because that field is filled out when you begain to add a md, it doesn't look like your hd space is the problem, my count is 1329 with over 30 menus, i am under 50 percent on my drives per vol, 62, 16 and 29 per cent... if all vol's are above 90, i could see a problem, have you tried adding a md to the least used vol?

Hi All,

Thanks for your valuable inputs so far, and sorry for delay in replying you back.

We took full system restart on sunday as there was continuous FIJI010 err (Fiber Junctor Interface err)as well on saturday. After restart it seems the M-Mail problem is solved as I'm able to add the users now.

The problem is still under observation and I'll let you know the further developments.

Thanks,

nothing like a restart to clean up a mess
