norton update problems

I just installed norton antivirus 2004 and attempted to update, however, received these error messages?

1) common client core
details: windows xp5.1.2600 service pack 1
common client core 2.0
2) norton antivirus 2004 update
details: windwos xp5.1.2600
navnt 10.00

anyone have an idea what's up.

thanks for anyone trying to fix this one.
