I turned off realtime protection ... after I turned it back on now the system tray icon for norton has an exclamation(!) over the shield...which I cant get rid of
HAHAHA I Begining to think mattjurado works for a Symantec competitor. The exclamation means rtvscan is not loaded. Try to do a manual load of the Norton/Symantec AntiVirus service from control panel - services. If that works you are cool.
No, just a fan of a product that has worked better for me. I think it would work better for others, so that's why you see me posting for Hauri a lot. It has found and repaired files that norton could not.
Okay...i ended up reinstalling it..and its fine now...however now that I think about it I did end the rtvscan process manually and that's probably what did it...
