Norton Personal Firewall - Cant download !!

Can anyone please help me. I have NPF 2001 installed on my machine and for some reasn I cannot download files etc...

The net works fine through my broadband ISP but download ing is not happening at all ...

what do I need to set / check / create rule for .. to get this to happen..??

any help greatly appreciated - much hair lost over this one

If you don’t have problems with downloading when the firewall is ‘deactivated’ then you need to run the setup wizard from Norton again, and it should set up the network and program access list mostly all automatically. But if you disable the firewall and you still can not start any downloads then your problem is not with the Norton Firewall.
