Hi,

I have been wondering about getting the Norton software (the firewall, antivirus, cleansweep, etc, etc), but friends have told me that they have experienced more problems after puttting it on, than when they first started, but am worried about viruses and being hacked.

Anyone?

I can tell you that the Corporate Antivirus product is a big help. I have not used their other products.

Norton is the way to go it offers the best protection for the price youre going to pay.

As for the problems you just need to understand what the program does and read up on it, make sure you get your updates and do regular maintance, You can also tell norton what to do and when yo do it. Please Vote if you found this helpful

I switched from McAfee to Norton. One suggestion though is that if you buy over the net (and the support for downloads is great but you have to pay long distance charges) you may want to buy the Norton CD or, if you buy it over the net, after I opened the program after downloading to the desktop, I left the download on the desktop so if I have to reinstall (which I have), the program is right there. With Norton Internet Security, it automatically updates and scans the entire incoming and outgoing messages.
