norton ghost 6.03

I backed up drive with norton trial 6.03, I just bought ghost 2003, cannot restore the image with 2003. it says it cant find other segments even if i show it where they are.
If I try to use the 6.03 that i created the image with it overwrites my c: drive even though I set the destination for drive 3 ( the drive I want to restore.)does the trial have destination limitations? is there a switch? please reply if you have a solution.

I would try to use the Ghost explore utility and see if it will read the image. Then at least you will know if they are compatible. 2003 user guide indicates that that it is compatible with all versions 3.0 and later.
