On one pc out of 60+, norton reports that it has found and deleted two viruses AP0.htm and AP1.htm. Later during the day, this can occur again. I have been assured by the user that he has not (?) downloaded anything and I have tried 4 or 5 various anti-virus and spyware products without success. Has anyone else come across this and solved the problem, and if so, would they please tell me how ?

CCleaner from the first link doesn't stop the spyware so am now going off to your second thread. Sorry about the cross-posting.

Do you have the latest AV defs?
Run Windows Update and get any updates available.
Try running a full AV scan in Safe Mode.
What's the default IE website set to?
Look in the IE History to see what sites were being visited.

Tried all the above - no joy. I Googled the cause Trojan.Byteverify and found a 30 day free trial of Trojan Remover. That cured the little beggar. Thanks to all though for yor suggestions.
