Hi there, I have a very ill server here, and one big problem is that NAV is just leaving viruses alone. The following message is found rather a lot in the event viewer today.

Virus Found!Virus name: W32Yaha.F@mm.enc in File:
E:\exchsrvr\imcdata\in\1VHBHQX9 by:Manual scan. Action: Clean failed : Leave Alone succeeded:

We are using NAV corporate edition Full version: 7.01

Running on an NT4 Server Service pack 6.

Just to be clear, you do have options other than Leave alone selected right?

I ask because I've seen where people had Leave alone as the 2nd option selected.

Hi, no, 1st option is clean 2nd option is quarentine.

Realtime seems to be switching itself off?

yet when I do a manual Scan, no viruses are found, what does this mean?

Have you looked to see if the virus is in quarantine. That is the message that I get whenever I leave a virus in the quarantine and it continues until I remove the virus from quarantine.

W32.YaHa can disable your virus protections program and your firewall. NAV has a removal tool for it. Go to NAV and search for YaHa.
