Norton Antivirus 2005

Hi,

When updating virus definitions I get error message: "The update was not completed. The update process was unable to complete successfully. Please click the Details button for more information." So I did click on Details button and message is:

"Windows XP 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2

NAVNT 11.0.1
Could not find installation path for at least one component."


What does this error means and how to repear a problem.

It has been my experience that none of Symantec's suggestions to fix this error have ever worked for me.

I suggest removing all Symantec products and replacing them with better behaving applications.
