Norton Anti virus 2000 for windows Xp

Hi everyone
I want to install nav 2000 on winsows XP.but it gives me message that file "SYEMVENT.SYS" is not compatible with the window.Is there any way to install this.

any kind of help is appreciated.

NAV 2000 preceeds XP by a couple years. I think NAV 2002 was the first XP contemporary NAV version "officaly" supported on XP
