Nortel Venture Doorphone

Just bought a Nortel Venture Doorphone thinking it was a doorphone for Nortel, however i cannot seem to get it to work with my system which is a 3x8 KSU 5.1, is this doorphone restricted to the Venture system or is there a way i can make this work?

the venture DP is a completely different system. it won't work. I need to try the norstar version which works as a station set. If you have extra trunk ports avaiable, try the 3025 doorphone..its works as good as the norstar and appears as a imcoming line which you can add the appear to any set and change the name to reflect the location. It will on any system and is mfgd by the same company.
