Nortel T7316e "MBOX in use" cannot check VM, cannot delete mbox.

If your not using CCR trees as stated in the previous link then try a reboot on the voicemail itself not the phone. You can just unplug it wait a few seconds and plug it back in.

I just tried that. Mailbox still says "in use"
 
You should def get a tech out there

Try rebooting the Norstar and the call pilot

I'm sorry. I'm just a secretary. The employees who set up the phone system no longer work here, and the manager doesn't know anything! I can't even find a file on our phone system, so I don't know what software version it is.
 
We sound like idiots because our voicemail greeting is still set to the holiday setting.
