Has anyone tried yet to connect a PRI from an Option 11C to a Cisco Call Mgr Yet? I spent 5 hours last night trying to find a DCH protocol that the two would find compatible and was unsuccessful to say the least. (Crisco?...I know, I know...long story) The cisco vemdor dude was not much help. Any help any one here can provide would be greatly appreciated.

good luck!!!

Do you know if there might be any differneces in programming that might be present between an 81c and an 11c?

Since I dont have QSIGGF package thats why I have configured IFC=S100 for my 81c Rls 3 system and it is working fine.

Do you know if this config will allow passing the name displays associated with the estensions? Is this an RCAP setting? Below is my current DCH cinfig that passes calls w/ ext nos.:

Below is the final DCH config that passes ext no as well as name display. Also included (below that) is the Cisco side's set-up. This is a long, hard fought battle, but it does work, and works well. It even passes to the rest of the Nortel network of ours. Hope this saves someone else these same headaches.

rpneal44,
Thanks for the post. If I can get the cisco guys tomorrow we will try that config. We have tried quite a few things but no success. So if a call goes thru CallPilot or transfered from a Nortel phone it will pass the CLID of the person call not the CP port DN or set DN?

Dwayne

Suncomminc - I would think that the caller's ext no would pass since CP would be doing a blind xfer. If a person was xfr the call then I would think that ext no would pass. We are running opt 11c w/ succ 3.0 and rel 12 MerMail, so can't speak for CP specifically but I don't think it would be treated any differently. One thing I did note was that when a call passes THRU the Opt 11 to the CCM (from a networked 61c) the caller ID is not passed until the call is answered. I think it has to do with the different RCAP settings between the 2 PRIs in the Opt 11. Same thing happens in both directions.

I feel pretty confident that this set-up will work for you. If it doesn't, post it, and we'll all see what we can work out.

rpneal44,
One of the biggest reasons I really want to see this work is because Cisco say that it cannot be done.

We finally had the chance to do a full test today, even going thru CallPilot or a transfer from a set it passes the proper CLID.

I would like to thank everyone for the help that was provided. That is what makes this forum great.
