Nortel phone wrong date

I have a 81c w/ 5.5 s/w

I have phones coming up with a time/date of
"Sept 63 15:30 pm"

I am not setup for 24hr clock nor is there 63 days in the month (I think)

Anyone ever have this issue

Here is the firmware on all M3903 phones

CORE FIRMWARE VERSION = 017
FLASH FIRMWARE VERSION = 089
 
If it's only one phone, I would strongly suspect a bad phone.
 
Did you try an IDU on the phone TN to see what prints out - if it is not a normal station ID printout then yes, I would suspect a bad phone like allenmac.
 
reload the firmware if it's just a single set

This isn't on a single set.
 
I am waiting for it to happen again to see how many phones are affected. It happens a couple times a week and corrects itself after some time.

You can still use the phone as if it was normal
 
then go to ld 88 and turn on lamp audit.. it was on by default prior to rls 3.. the 3000 series does a time sync to the core during audit. you should be able to disu the set, enable and push the time correction

What is the sequence in ld 88
I just looked thru ld 88 in the manual and saw nothing about lamp audit

I say just unplug the phone and plug it back in.
