We use a Nortel Norstar PLUS Compact ICS system
Everything worked fine until yesterday.

We have 5 lines. The main phone number rolls over to the next office line as they're busy.

At this point, only the reception phone (M7324) is working properly.

Our other 4 phones (M7310) do not. When line 1 rings, we all see it and can answer it. If line 1 is busy and rolls over to line 2, only the reception phone is able to answer it (M7324). The other M7310 phones show the 2nd line is in use (solid riangle). ...we are unable to answer it on the M7310 phones. The reception phone is fine.

Any ideas? Thanks for your input.

Jason

Is it really line 2 (& 3, 4 and 5) on the other sets?

2 things to report back:
-Do Feature * 0 (button inquiry) then press each line and see what is says (exactly) on the display.
-Next time you see it go solid, press it and see again what is says on the display.

Hi Curlycord,

Thank you for the response. We figured it out because of your post. Here are the details you asked for:

Line 001: Not Directed
Line 002: Redir by 26
Line 003: Redir by 26
Line 004: Redir by 26
Line 005: Redir by 26

We had to CANCEL the redirect: Feature #84, UNDIRECT, ALL LINES

Everything is back to normal.

Hope this helps someone else in the future.

Again, thank you for taking the time to respond.

Sincerely,
Jason
