Customer has Nortel MICS 4.1 and 2 PRI circuits (one for incoming & one for outgoing)

Customer wants to have the system programming set up so that some extensions will show one number when dialing out, other extensions will show a different number when dialing out and other extensions will not show caller ID when dialing out.

Can this be done with the 4.1 software, or do we need to upgrade?

If we need to upgrade software what is the lowest version of software that will work to do the job?

Knowing that in changing the software, the system needs to be reprogrammed, is there a way to back-up existing software and download it to the new software via laptop?

Thanks for your help on this one!!!

Somewhat, you can only block CLID on a per call basis.S0, they would have to press a Ftr button before every call they want blocked (ONN).

The customer dos not want to have to dial a feature code before dialing out. Is there another way??
