Looked up the DND feature, it seems the only rela DND setup is to have an ATC or 1250/2250 setup with the DDL key, then set it to a 2616. Is ther a wa y to set up a DDL or other Do not disturb key or feature access code onto a 2616 set?

Someone mentioned using a MBK, make set busy key on a M2616, even if it's not in an ACD group, but does the make set busy feature work the exact same way as DND?

The Make Busy key (MSB) will make your phone appear busy. Whatever is programmed for a busy condition (e.g., FBA setting) will take effect. So, it might go to voicemail, or give a busy signal, etc., but it will not ring the phone.

Thanks for the info. We really need t know if the make set busy feature key is the exact same response feature wise as if a do not disturb key were set on the M2616. Is the exact same busy tone cadence sent when a phone that has make set busy called, as a phone with do not disturb is called?

I believe so, that in either case it would be a standard busy tone (as opposed to overflow, for example). However, in a Do Not Disturb, you can specify either Busy, Attendant, or a Ran. For the MSB, you will either give it a destination (voicemail, attendant, etc.) or a busy tone if CLS=FBD.
