I have a tty in a nortel opt 11 I used it to send turn on the message waiting light but now it does not allow me to write just send me the normal information I do not know what happened if it had been good

this is another tty that works correctly but I do not execute the command I use it to send it on it is "se st 1101 mw on" and to turn off "se st 1101 mw off"

must be some permission but I do not know where, I would appreciate your help to solve this
 
I never knew you could do this. But another easier option is to put a MIC & MCK key on a digital set to turn them off and on.
 
At the . prompt enter
pr op po
That will print the settings for your background terminals.
The answer may be in there.

Your terminals must be very busy. Looks like you have too many things turned on.
 
I did it, but I dont Know what does mean?

The bottom four lines show the options for each of the background terminals.
The option "ST: SE" means the port is allowed to SET the STatus of the phones.
Both port 4 and 6 have the same background terminal options so your commands should work on both.
Does port 4 allow you to do anything? If you enter "pr st 1101" it should display the status of 1101. If it doesn't then you may have a physical TTY connection problem.
Or they could be set for different speeds.
