Hi all,

I require some expert assistance, I was at a client site today and they told me that Nortel advised them that they are winding back furute development of Symposium. Is this the case??????, can anyone comment on this.

I heard something to that effect a week or two ago. I'm not sure how true it is though.

we need to put a door box on a norstar system. what are the benefits of using the norstar door box over say a Viking W2000 connected to a trunk port. I've used a Viking unit, it connects to a trunk port and causes the trunk to ring.
How does the norstar door box work, what's your opinion?

I believe Nortel is givin up support on Symposium and Cymphony due and have there own Call Center platform on the NAM's and Call Pilots.
