How can I tell if a Norstar has a network card installed? Currently I dial into the system and was told that a nic was installed but not configured. Does the board have a number that I can use as a reference.

Norstar phone systems don't have NICs. The dial up is performed through a RAD (or IRAD if a CICS). Yes, the rad does have to be set up on site before it can be used. (If anyone knows differently, PLEASE let me know. It would be nice.)

The Call Pilot does have a NIC. You'd have to first connect it to your network, andf assign a static IP to be able to access it.
