I am new to Nortel systems.

1) How do I get a count of subsribers to voicemail on a Nortel Norstar using the Nortel Remote Utilties?

2) Where can I find documenation on that specific system that is easily downloadable?

NRU is for the KSU and not the Voice Mail however you can access the voice mail via the telset on screen.

You could telnet into the Vmail and aquire but you realy first off need to state what version and type of KSU and what type and verion Voice mail you have.

How would a person determine the ksu version and type of voicemail? The system is not located where I am at, can this be determined remotely?

Look for anything written on or near the top of the KSU, open it up and look for a DR version on the software cartidge or card.

Same with Voice mail
