hope someone can help me out on this one have a customer that has a Nortel MICS with a call pilot and a PRI recently they have been experiencing this problem on incoming calls if they call a DID line thru the PRI with a phone that has caller ID blocked the system will give a short ring then will give the caller a busy signal or state that all circuits are busy if you call in from the same phone and unblock the caller ID the call goes thru fine this is not happening if you call in on their 800 number that is also coming over on the PRI also they have 2 backup analog lines not thru the PRI and this is not a problem for those lines either I believe the problem is with the carrier but they came out and tested everything as well as received and answered calls thru the PRI into their equipment without it connected to the system and had no trouble receiving a call ( I was not there to witness that but the customer was ) please help I would like to push back to the carrier but also do not want to be wrong and then loose credibility with my customer please help I have asked several other vendors familiar with the Nortel system they all tell me it is the carrier not the system
