Hi,

I want to external call forward calls from a MICS extension running R4.1 but Feature 4 denies any forwarding besides internally. Anyone know what release external call forwarding became available on?

This leads to a second question. I'd like to purchase a Call Pilot 100/150 voicemail system, and program an option off of a CCR tree that forwards calls to an external number. Will this be possible if I upgrade my software?

Thanks in advance,

Tom

I ran into this a few years ago and I'm responding by memory but I think the release was 4.1 at the highest,I think you had to allow redirect in capabilities and I'm pretty sure the customer had a T-1 or PRI but I know it wasn't 5.0.Try F4 and just your telephone number and then try F4,intercom 8 or 9 and your telephone number before you have the customer upgrade and spend cash they don't really have to.

I don't recall what level of software you need, but you have to use routing and allow redirect has to be set to "Y"
And yes Call Pilot 100/150 is able to have external transfer points.

Allow redirect and assign your lines to a route and then assign a destination code to that route.
