Has anybody ever seen "no resource" when trying to connect to voicemail? I have a MICS 4.1 with a callpilot 100 v31.10.23.22. Voicem mail goes down, indicator lights still show connection, and F985, F981, F980 all give "no resource" in display. Happened 3 times and reboot brings back to life. System is on good power protection etc. Pilot has new version power supply. Has been running for a year. Help! Pete

Verify the quality of the physical connection between Call Pilot and the ports used on the MICS. Loose wiring can cause trouble. Corrosion can also build up inside the surface (biscuit) jack, causing intermittent trouble.

Thanks, I'll try a reconnect / repunch cross connects, but typically a bad connection will drop the connectivity lights and they are still lit. Also a disconnection will typically show up as "innactive feature" not "no resource" in the display. The software compatibility chart shows no issues here but that is what i'm thinking. (I used to believe everything I read) but I can't be the only one to experience this can I?
I'll post the resolution if it works. Thanks.
Pete

You might also post this question in the Norstar or CallPilot forums and get more results. This is the Meridian 1 forum.

Did you ever find a resolution? One of my remote sites has the same problem and I'd love to know what to look for before I drove 3 hours to check it.
