It has been a few years since I have done system work but got a service call today. System had PRI with lines going strait to VM. I changed program to go to 2316 first. Then customer wanted to do conference. That is when I discovered only one ICM button. All other phones I have ever seen have 2. Any one help with why and how to change back to 2 ICM buttons?

Yes, under the extension you can change whether it has 1 or 2 intercom buttons. Possibly it may also be a system wide option, it's certainly there on the BCM50.

All other phones on the system have the two like usual. It only seems to be the one that the receptionist is using.

It's under Terminals&Sets/Line Access in Config Programming.

That may not be the issue, though. Are calls going to the mailbox of a particular user? If so, someone probably has their phone forwarded to voicemail.

Another thing to look at are Service Modes...

Let us know what you find out, and we can help you narrow it down.

Going to spend the night with nose in the books. Thanks for the ideas and directions to head. The trunks on the PRI card were going to an extention that was unused and forwarded to VM. I changed to REC. phone and they are working fine now.

Now the Rec. is trying to conference but only has the one ICM. I started to set a pool button but it didn't like the dial 9 entry for pool access. That's when I ran out of time. Thanks again all.

Deffinatly gotta have two intercoms to conf.like Rik rogers said. and the dial 9 pool button that you were trying cant be done like that for PRI, use hotline to get that to work

All right, you all can have a good laugh on me. I learned not to assume that because a user gives you a DN number that it is there prime DN. Once the prime DN was programmed for two ICM buttons it worked very well. Thanks again for help from all.
