[Nortel Meridian M9417] Paging on VoIP

Hello!

I have a Meridian M9417 phone (not M9417CW) and I'm going to be using it as a phone for my Asterisk system. For every phone, I'm using an analog adapter.

For the main phone (mine), it will be a Sipura SPA-2100 ATA. For the other phones, they will have SPA-1001 ATAs.

I'm wondering if I could somehow use the paging system that this phone appears to have?

check with valcom, you need a station level page adapter.. it answers an analog set and cut voice through... normal access is via a trunk level.. both work.. i have used the speaker leads to the voice side of the paging system.. that will work on a digital phone with auto-answer or a voice icm if all else fails
