I would like to know what a member & a route are.
I have a CDR output showing severals fields, something like:

N 040 00 6459 A000017 05/19 13:06 00:03:15 A 67865434
N 045 00 A000010 6487 05/19 13:06 00:02:25

I know 6459 & 6487 are the internals/extensions and I can identify timestamp and duration and dialed number
but I do not know how to link the A000017 & A000010 with trunks.

The first 3 after the A is the route the next 3 is the member

Exactly...so for the layman:

N 040 00 6459 A000017 05/19 13:06 00:03:15 A 67865434
Ciphered: Extn 6459 dialed out on Route 0, Member 17

N 045 00 A000010 6487 05/19 13:06 00:02:25
Ciphered: Incoming call on Route 0 Member 10 to Extn 6487

You can list all your trunks by Route Number in LD21

ROUT (just hit return until it prints a list)

why does the member and route matter? you can run an internal traffic study to see if your getting close on your trunking requirements.. traffic studies (ld 2) help you decide when to buy another t1.. prior to people getting a busy signal

Thanks a lot,
Now I would like to know what a member is and what a route is.
Can you to explain it?

Thanks a lot

A "member" is a channel or trunk. A "route" is composed of a "member" or"Members" and is used to by callers into the PBX stations or directs the PBX stations to various functions such as calling out to an outside number, overhead paging ,recorded announcements etc.,etc.
