This is an old system, DR5, I believe. There is no software and no voice mail. Model 7310, Meridian.
When I first had the system installed - professionally, there was not this problem.
I have programmed all of the set(5) to hands free mute - but other than that, am not aware of anything else I have done that might have changed the conditions.
The problem occurs after punching an outgoing call. The connection takes several seconds, then proceeds normally. But, when prompted to punch a number in - such as ID or selection for a service, it does not get recognized as having been done. So, the receiving system asks for it again...
So - I can't really enter automated responses. Eventually some receiving programs recognize my entry...if I keep trying. Others hang up.
I appreciate ANY help you can provide as I am baffled.
