My receptionist cannot enter digits in a phone menu when she calls out on our M2250 console.

For example, she calls a number, hears the menu, and tries to press 1,2,3, etc. When she does that, the console goes to EXCL SRC (Exclude Source from call).

Don't know what to advise her. Anyone?

You need to program an EES key on her console

She will dial the number, press the EES key, and then input the digits she wants.

If the menu is External, that works. EES Key is the trick. But keep in mind that "You cannot transfer an M2250 Console".

Example: Your M2250 Operator calls your internal Help desk, then presses 1 to get transferred to wherever. The Call Pilot or MerMail system attempts to perform the transfer - and trust me, the M2250 is stronger. you cannot transfer a Console...It owns the call.

Same with hanging up. You (internal user) cannot hang up on a M2250. If you do, your line just sits there glued to the M2250 until THEY decide to release you.
