First, Happy New Year to all of you!

I have just purchased a Nortel IP 1110 telephone.
I am trying to activate it on my BCM 50 R6.0 but with no luck.

I have 18 assigned licences out of 24.
I have 11 activated IP phones.
I have checked the enable registration box in IP terminal global settings.
I have booted the the telephone and its version is: 0627C7M

When I log in the phone with color.set I get this:

EAP: 0
LLDP: 1
DNS1:
Server:
S1 Ip:
S2 Ip:
CFGXAS?: 0
Voice802.1Q: 1
Pc Port: 1
Data802.1Q: 1
Stickiness?: 1
Prov:

I have no clue what to put in besides the S1 and S2. (BCM static ip)

I also tried **73639+ Mac add## with no luck.
I have tried putting all of the above automatic but didnot work.

Here are some messages I saw go by:
waiting for CFGdata...
no LLPDUS recieved

starting DHCP...
DHCP Server unreachable

Server unreachable

Thanks alot for your help!

Thank you Curlycord!

Blackybear, have you been able to get the phone to work yet?

RLSBUTTON,
No I have not.
Yes the ip phone is pointing to the BCM.
It has uploaded its new fireware and rebooted.
Now after logging with color*set I am getting a prompt saying
NEW SET
ID:
I don't know what they are asking for. Lets say I punch in 266344
I get a new prompt saying
PW:
If I punch in 266344 again I will get Not Authorized.
I have also tried setnna for the id, no luck.

I think the only thing missing is the id and pw for the telephone to log in the BCM.
The next step will be to give it an extension!

I will try to get in touch with you tonight or tomorrow if it is fine with you!

Thanks

SL

Should be same as telset login....SETNNA and its password.

Check to see you can actually login to the BCM via telset.

If SETNNA works to login to BCM programming (telset) then try this:
Uncheck "auto-assign DN's" and blank out the "global password" setting under Resources/TelephonyResources/IPsets/GlobalSettings

I finaly was able to log my ip 1110 to the BCM.
Thanks to all...

The password thing didnot work till I checked, unchecked the
Enable Global Registration password tab.
Doing that gave me a prompt for DN: ?
Entered my DN, Et Voila! It worked.

Now I am trying the same procedure on a second ip 1110
and no luck again. I cannot even enter the color* ??
Hum, should I reboot my BCM ?
