Let's leave the automation aside for now. We'll try to get your calls forwarded manually first.
I see 2 options to forward your calls outside the system:
[ul]
[li]External Call Forward[/li]
[li]Line Redirection[/li]
[/ul]
To learn more about those options, have a look at the System Coordinator Guide for your system: there is chapter about "Forwarding your calls".
External Call Forward
To use External Call Forward, you press Feature 4 and dial a destination code. This will forward all the calls that ring at your extension.
If you are running CICS or MICS 4.1 or later, this feature is available on your system. Additionally, in programming, your extension must be allowed to redirect its lines.
If you have PRI, a destination code is already programmed. So, after pressing Feature 4, all you have to do is dial the number where you want to forward your call, as if you were calling it from your extension. If you don't have PRI, you might need to build a destination code.
Do you have PRI?
If so, how do you make an external call?
Do you know how to get into programming?
Line Redirection
To use Line Redirection, you press Feature 84 and follow the prompts that appear on the display. This will forward all the calls that come in on a particular line.
The line you want to redirect must have an appearance on your set. Additionally, in programming, your extension must be allowed to redirect its lines.
When someone calls you using the 419-3535 number, the indicator flashes next to a button. How is this button labeled?
If you press Feature *0, then you press that button, what does the display show?

what version you need? is it the nortel plus that we have?
Yes.
The version is available in programming: Maintenance > System Version. The version is also printed on the label of the software cartridge.
