Huawei guys are asking me to bring C7 out f Nortel. As per my knowledge, C7 or SS7 (Q.700 Series) are PSTN protocols (for PSTN PABXs) whereas as QSIG (Q.931) is PISN (Private Integrated Switching Network) Protocol.

I will really appreciate if someone confirm about authenticity of my concept. Besides, I am sure that I can not run up Nortel's QSIG or EURO ISDN with Huwei's C7 (ISUP / ITUP). If so, can someone suggest some normal Protocol Converter for my proceeding?

your right, Huawei is requesting a pstn frontend, your only option that i know of is going to be qsig

Do you know of any reliable protocol converter for this situation?

See if Huawei will also talk to a DMS or SL100.
The Nortel switch will let you emulate the CO side on a d-channel if you make the SIDE prompt NET and the IFC is S100.
Otherwise QSIG may be the only way to go. I have had luck with ISGF on some softswitches that would not talk to anything else.
