So I know a little bit about Nortel phones and Norstar systems, enough to get through the menus and change greetings and stuff of that nature. Im having a bit of an issue. We have a restaurant that takes call in orders and the phones have to be answered from any phone that is in the building, normally a customer would push 2 to place and order this would make all the phones ring. However we occasionally get an impatient customer that will not listen to the menu and immediately press 0 this will make it go to the operator and thus only one phone will ring and usually no one is in that station. Is there any way to program it to where if they press 0 all the phones will ring or to just disable that 0 option.
Im not sure if these numbers will help but on the front and sides
Nortel networks
Norstar Compact ICS

on the side it has
Norstar
CICS W/LSDS 6.1

You can do either.

In the ATDT setting of the table you are using, either enter the same DN as the dial 2 option (this will make all phones ring as per dialing 2), or set ATDT to none to disable the dial "0" option.

Ok I have atdt set to none however it still does rings to one phone when you press 0

Check F982 there is ATDT setting in there too.

Well the only place I checked was f982 atdt was none however I tried to change it and now I don't know how to get it back to none. Where else would there be a atdt setting other then the f982.

Look at where Option 2 is pointed to in your CCR Tree. If it goes to an extension then go in and change your ATDN to that extension. Then when someone presses 0 it will act the same as if they pressed 2.
