I'm having an issue when Nat transversal is turned on on the Connectivity Switch which is required for vista cleints. According to my secuirty comapny who mangaes the VPN I have to make sure UDP 10001 is open outbound. I called Verizon and they walked me through this by using port forwarding on the Actiontec router they provided. After doing this i was still unable to connect. I called Verizon who had to talk with Actiontec and they were able to determine these ports were open. I have a linksys sitting behind the actiontec router due to the poor signal strength of the actiontec router. I even tried plugging directly into the actiontec router. same result. It fials when rtreiving banner text. I have norton Antivirus runningon the Windows XP box as well but that shouln't interfere. I even shutdown the windows personal firewall also. Any helpful suggestion would be most appreciated so i can get this resolved and make everyone happy. Right know we have to have the nat transversal turned off otherwise XP clients can't connect. I have had some users able to connect with htis option turned on but I cannot determine their setup at home.
