I have a CallPilot 100 connected to a Norstar MICS which does not answer. I have performed the following troubleshooting procedures with no luck in restoring the system to operability.

1. Power cycled the system
2. Powered down system and re-seated the PCMCIA card then powered back up.
3. Attempted to connect via the ethernet port but I get no response (this is the usual method of programming).
4. Upon powerup lights for TLM ports do not sequence, they remain on full all of the time.
5. Attempted connection with serial port (9600, N, 1, N, VT100), using Hyperterminal with no luck even while connected with Hyperterminal after reboot.
6. Ports on Norstar show unequipped.
7. Measured output of power supply and it is 8.33VDC at 2.38A

My suspicion is that the unit is defective. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I've ordered a replacement in anticipation of this possibility. I'll let you know how it works out tomorrow. Thanks for your response.

No!!!!

9 volt 3 prong is the defective one from Nortel

Use an 8v 2 prong.

But I agree it sounds like the cabinet went defective.
But just hope that your good power supply just went bad.
