I have installed many Flash voicemails and thought the Call Pilot basically works the same.I set up the greeting table(1) to play greeting 1 for morning, afternoon, and evening(less recording).I leave the default greeting 4 for nonbusiness.I set the nonbusiness times so that the only time that greeting 4 will play is when the operators password is used to "close" the business.I build a CCR tree and marry it to the greeting table.I program CCR tree 1 for morning, afternoon, evening, and nonbusiness.During business open(Y) hours everything works as it should. When the operator logs in to "close" the business, greeting 4 plays as it should but CCR tree 1 does not.Instead you hear the canned message(to use the company directory press the # key etc.etc.)With a flash unit this has always worked.Am I missing something stupid. Thanks Ben

All of your assumptions are correct. May sound stupid, but is there a recording for Greeting 4?

Yes there is a nonbusiness greeting(4) that has been recorded and it does play correctly.Only the nonbusiness CCR tree does not play. Its the same tree as used during business hours only preceeded by the closed greeting.Except it chooses not to play the CCR tree instead it plays the canned announcements. Thanks Ben

What is the start of non-business - it is setup in the greeting table
Just asking - Why do you use F982 instead of specifying business hours in the greeting table

I'm missing something. The greeting your hearing is a default CCR prompt. You setup ONE CCR tree with options available 24 hrs. a day. Then you precede the CCR tree with a Day (1) and Night (4) greeting using the Time of Day settings.

What are you doing?

The reason for allowing the operator to "close" the business, instead of setting up the closed hours in the table,is for those 3 day weekends and here in Florida occasionally we have to close for hurricane damage.Doing it this way allows for the operator to set the business into a closed situation whenever it is appropriate. With the Flash systems this works perfect. It is also easy to teach someone to address greeting 4 and change it on the fly(I'm sorry we will be closed for the week of Xmas through New Years for inventory, etc.)and yet still have this followed by the CCR tree(dial for service, dial 2 for sales,etc.). Thanks Ben

Nothing you said, changes anything I said. You still always have the ability to use Ftr982. They can still rerecord greeting 4. It's just more professional. They're going to be days when someone forgets to Ftr982 when they go home.

Yes,I agree people are always forgetful.I still would like to know why CP100 and CP150 do not play greeting 4 followed by CCR tree 1 when told to in table 1. Thanks Ben

Just try for laughs, setting up the Time Settings. Just like I said at the beginning, as a test. 1 CCR tree, Greeting 1 day, Greeting 4 night. Time of day according to business hours. Then fool the Vmail by changing MICS time and test.

OK I set up a CP100 to use the default nonbusiness hours and married a CCR tree to a greeting table.I fooled the VM by setting the time on the CICS to nonbusiness hour.Normally I set the answer to 4 but since we use a CICS 4.1 with CID I had to set the rings at 0 to prevent the CID from reseeting the time to the correct time. The system played the nonbusiness greeting and the CCR tree correctly.without making any changes,I then went through the operator password and set the business open to "N".it played the closed greeting but resorted to the canned AA greeting.I set up a CP150 the same way and it seemed to function correctly as does a Flash.Maybe this is just a unique software error to the CP100.This does not solve the problem of a business that wants to pr-record a business closed greeting and toggle it on and off during 3 day weekends. Thanks Ben

What s/w level? I think 2.0.0.47 (around there somewhere) had that very issue;....I've seen it before.......Upgrade to 2.10.0.06 or .08 works great!

If the customer can access the web browser to the Call Pilot, show them how to use the Holiday menu. This will solve your 3 day weekend problem.

Is this the issue?
You need to change AA Menu Prompt which is first thing you see under TABLE.

What is the SW release - 2.0 had that issue as a bug.
